With all the recent talk on home adaptations, I thought that it'd be a good idea to share pictures of our adapted homes.
The first set of pictures is my living room. As you can see in the "before" picture, the living room floor is originally about a foot lower than the rest of the house. There's two steps down to get to the living room and it was impossible for me to get down without help. In the "after" picture, you can see that the floors have been raised so the level is flush with the rest of the house.
The second set of pictures is my bedroom door. As you can see in the "before" picture, my bedroom originally had a single door which made it hard for me to get in and out. On the "after" picture, you can see that the doors are now double which makes it much easier for me to get in and out.
I have more pictures on my computer so I'll post them up when I find them
Nice house DJ, I thought that Canadians lived in igloos, lol. But seriously a very nice house. Here is some photos of our bedroom and my bathroom, unfortunately we rent so couldn't do to much renovation. But the landlord took out the glass shower screen so our main bathroom has become a wet room, I just wheel up next to the shower and away I go, and we where very lucky because the house had wide hallways and our bedroom is huge.
