Good job, Jeremy! Your "wooden heart" took me back to gym class in junior high school. We did folk dances one year and that was one of our songs that we danced to. (This was 'way' pre-sci, of course.) I'm a paraplegic, but I have a harmonica and holder. It's tricky to get the holder adjusted right. Pre-sci, I played piano and had attempted guitar, accordion, and harmonica. I have a ukelele, but one string won't stay tuned. And I'm making a tiny diy ukelele currently. If I ever learn to play it, we'll have to do a "wooden heart" duet.
Ever hear of "synchronicity", Jeremy? I think it just happened. I love this site but haven't visited for a while. I've been ill, then busy trying to get back into work, and just recently in bad situation where I've been doing more research into mindfulness, etc. to try to get my emotions in check. I came here today looking for advice on a bad UTI, probably caused by stress as much as anything else, and the first post I saw was yours. I know I should avoid new member posts like this, but was intrigued to find no monetary pitch on your site, and am actually interested in your research, so I sent you the "I want to participate" email. I'll let you know how it works out. A question though, why your interest in this particular subject? You don't mention if you have an injury and I didn't look at your profile, but I'm guessing you don't. Just curious.
