Hi sorry, not been around of late been in the middle of moving home and turning it from a bomb site to at least having 2 rooms at least fit to live in. It as been pretty hard on both me and hubby and knocked me flat. had to spend time in bed with exhaustion and the paint fumes nearly killed me.
we still have a long way to go and I am far from back to normal what ever that is !! But all I can do is keep moving forwards. So if you don't see me around too often you know this is the reason why. I hope I find you all doing good and looking forward to some nice weather now Spring is officially here YIPPEEE. take care everyone
So glad you have been able to make a move, hopefully to a more accessible place. Yes, it is necessary to take time off from everything else, and even then there is a recovery period. I am aiming in the same direction...
Hi everyone It as been ages since I stopped by. We have been in our new home for about 4 months now and It as so stressed me out I have now gone down with shingles of all things. The pain is something else. Also I have done something to make my back problem worse So after seeing my new doc for the first time yesterday and getting the shingles dx. He as booked me in for an appointment to see someone at the hospital about my back and hopefully an MRI. One of the main questions he did ask was i having any control problems with my bladder or bowl. I thought at the time was he checking me out for signs of SCI. So now it is a case of wait and see.
Sorry i can not get in as often as I would like but I'm struggling and juggling to keep up with essentials on a day to day basis. And having Fibro/CFS now the shingles I have become quiet the sleepy head LOL Just did not want you to think I was no longer around. Take care all enjoy your weekend.
So glad to hear from you again. Shingles--painful, and hope you can get some relief soon. Moving while dealing with your medical stuff is so traumatic, and now possible injury? Sorry to hear, and hope it is not something lasting. You can have nerve compression from injury that affects B&B, but is temporary, i.e., will heal in time.
Aww thank you Lαrα,DJ and wavewolf your so kind as always. Yes shingles is the pits. I am not going to say there is worse out there as you all know there is. But what ever anyone suffers with is bad to them. I just need to know what is wrong with my back. been in a wheel chair and told you have fibromyalgia for 15years with no MRI been done and now it is is hell yeah right. I don't think so. Long story so will leave it here LOL my bed is calling take care and Good night all

Please make getting more info about your back a priority! Nerve damage sometimes can heal if the triggering factor is identified and mitigated. Moving activity probably didn't help any... If you have nerve compression and ignore it, damage can become permanent unnecessarily.
